ABOUT US
Our Principals, Goals, and Reasoning Behind it All
Why We Founded PRYSM Motorsport
PRYSM Motorsport was founded because there needed to be a change. It became way too complicated to be a part of a team that wanted to take sim racing seriously, but have fun as well.
That's where we came in. Prior team owners we've experienced racing with have chosen bought skill over growth. We believe every one of our drivers has the ability to make it to top split, they just need that push to get there.
The "Sim-to-Grid" Mentality
PRYSM Motorsport found the opportunity to get its drivers into real seats. These seats may not be directly owned cars by PMOSPO, however, the funding to become a feeder team was the new goal.
A lot of our drivers have aspirations to become real drivers like most other sim racers as well. What sets our drivers apart is the willpower and the attitude they carry. With at least 5 of our current drivers being in real-world-motorsport, two of them bringing our first two recorded real world finishes as podiums, one as a win, we already see the road clear as day.
All that's left is the backing to push these drivers into even larger seats like Formula Regional Americas or Europe, or Oval Series' like Northwest Late Models Series. Our eyes are set on the future, and we can see it coming to fruition already.
The idea behind "Sim-to-Grid" is proving that iRating in a video game could mean something, but it doesn't tell the whole story. We train our drivers on their throttle and brake input, as well as keeping their vehicle stable in all conditions, at numerous different tracks. These aspects, as well as media-training and numerous other aspects, prepare our drivers for the real world of racing.
Do These Aspects Resonate With You?
